Human Resource Training
【Tokyo Caregiver Academy】
IPS launched our Human Resource deployment venture four years go to address the future need of providing assistance to the ageing Japan’s society. Hence, we started The Tokyo caregiver Academy”. This provided avenues for Filipinos to be equipped in the field of nursing. Today, there are over two hundred thousand Filipinos that are eligible to work in Japan. About one hundred thirty thousand of them are women, married to Japanese nationals and living as ordinary housewives. They have basic to intermediate Japanese language skills and have familiarity with the culture, customs, and traditions of Japan. These, coupled with their sense of hospitality and culturally ingrained sense of tradition for taking care of the elderly in their families, make them ideal candidates to serve as caregivers.
