We are also in the business of providing staffing to elderly care and medical facilities catering to Filipinos.

When you think about the caregiving business, you always look for the providers who are known overseas for their warm hospitality and smiling personality. The Philippines graduates over 20,000 nurses every year and around 10,000 find employment abroad. Those who are lucky to find jobs overseas end up in the Middle East, the United States and Canada. The Filipino caregiver’s spirit of service is derived from the inherent love and care for family members, especially in their twilight years. This is a most suitable attribute for people who intend to come to Japan and provide service to the elderly.

The Company, in about 5000 people from 2008 to 2014, asked to get the qualification of home care employees second grade (of the current nursing staff induction training), recruitment and staffing to about 2000 nursing and medical facilities like the we have done.

We have now discontinued our training program and are instead focused on an aggressive recruitment and placement effort for client companies that need these skills.

Recruitment and Placement of Technical Trainees

During the current Diet session, one of the hottest topics being deliberated is whether to include nurses in the technical trainee category in terms of being allowed to come to Japan to work.

These discussions about long-term demand for elderly care in Japan is a good thing. The question is how do you begin to address the challenges of cultural differences?
The company, in cooperation with client enterprises, has embarked on an effort to bridge the language and cultural gaps to lessen the turnover of foreign staff by fostering the necessary adjustments from both sides to ensure a more harmonious working relationship among foreign workers and their Japanese counteparts and superiors.
These adjustments include, among others, the study of technical terms that are more easily understandable and can be readily adapted by foreign staff.

Recruitment and Job Placement

We cater to 3 types of Hiring
1.Direct Hiring (Jinzai Shokai),
2.Subcontracting/outsourcing through IPS (Haken)
3.Trial Employment (Shokai Yotei Haken)

To support these hiring efforts we published Tagalog Newspaper, Pinoy Gazette and Organized Job Fairs where they can directly hire. These are key points we have compared to other recruitment agencies.

1. Direct Hiring (Jinzai Shokai)
Direct Hiring means IPS assist Companies who would need candidates and helps screen for their open post. Once hired, the Company’s employment rules and wage regulations shall be applied.
【 Flow of Placement 】
1.Request: Company provides the qualification and information about the open position.
2.Interview: IPS will set up an interview between the Company and potential candidate
3.Employment : If the Potential Candidate passes the interview a contract is prepared between the applicant and the Company. The potential candidate becomes a full employee and a corresponding fee shall be charged by IPS.

2. Trial Employment (Shokai Yotei Haken)
IPS gives a company a trial period to verify if the applicant matches the qualification with the open position. This type prevents mismatch and minimizes the burden of hiring activities.
【 Flow of Placement 】
1.Request: Company provides the qualification and information about the open position.
2.Interview: IPS will set up an interview between the Company and potential candidate
3.Contract Agreement : Once the company agrees to accept a potential candidate, an Agency Contract shall be prepared between the Company and IPS.
4.Probationary Period: A probationary period of two to three months shall be given to the company to check if the candidate matches the post.
5.Employment : If the Potential Candidate passes the probationary period and the Company wish to hire the candidate, a contract shall be prepared between the applicant and the Company. The potential candidate becomes a full employee and corresponding fee shall be charged by IPS.

3. Subcontracting/Outsourcing through IPS (Haken)
Subcontracting or Outsourcing means the candidate is an IPS staff but works for the Company on a temporary basis. This type minimizes the burden of hiring activities. Applications shall be processed solely by IPS.

1.Request: Company provides the qualification and information about the open position.
2.Interview: IPS will screen applicants qualified for the post
3.Contract Agreement: An Agency Contract shall be prepared between the Company and IPS
4.Employment :Applicants starts work

Organizing Job Fairs

IPS organizes a Job Fair for Foreigners residing in Japan. Job Fairs is an avenue where IPS invites companies with open post and can hire applicants directly. The Main Attendees and applicants of our Job Fairs are Filipinos who can speak basic Japanese
