In 2004, IPS obtained its license to broadcast foreign television content via DTH from the Japan Ministry of Internal Affairs and Communications. AccessTV was launched in 2005 with 24-hour Filipino programming from GMA — the largest and most profitable broadcasting company in the Philippines, on two channels: GMA Pinoy TV and GMA Life TV. Today, some 30,000 Filipino households in Japan subscribe to GMA channels. We see IPS targeting other ethnic markets in the future via AccessTV.

In addition, IPS always keep in mind the need to provide its subscribers with quality entertainment. IPS also offers commercial spots on Access TV. We are now expanding our market reach so we may also provide service for the Taiwan market.
